Hello

Here's who I am & what I do

I’m currently a graduate student at NC State University pursuing a Master’s in Microbial Biotechnology, and I’ll be graduating in 2027! I’m originally from the Galápagos Islands in Ecuador and moved to the United States at 18 to follow my passion for biology and science. I completed my undergraduate studies at Chapman University in California.

As much as I enjoyed learning science, I became especially interested in how scientific discoveries can spark real innovation, and how we can guide that innovation to create meaningful impact. This interest led me to the Microbial Biotechnology program, which blends science and business and offers hands-on experience in the biotechnology industry. I’m passionate about continuous learning and finding meaningful ways to bridge the gap between scientific research and business strategy!

I’m excited about exploring new ways biotechnology can drive innovation that improves healthcare, supports environmental well-being, and creates lasting impact.
